Dealer, Global Markets Treasury Sales

About the Role

Maybank Singapore is looking for a motivated and commercially focused expert to join its Global Markets Treasury Sales division. This position plays a vital part in growing the treasury business by spotting new opportunities, building trusted client relationships, and delivering customized treasury and risk management services to corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with corporate and institutional clients, acting as a trusted advisor on treasury and financial market products.
• Proactively identify and originate treasury-related business opportunities and mandates.
• Design and provide bespoke hedging and risk management solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Manage the full sales process including client interaction, solution design, execution, and follow-up service.
• Keep abreast of financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and industry developments to offer timely insights to clients.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Trading, Structuring, Research, Risk, and Product to ensure integrated client solutions.
• Ensure compliance with both regulatory standards and internal governance policies.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds a relevant degree with 3 to 7 years of experience in Treasury Sales, Financial Markets, or capital markets client-facing roles.
• Strong grasp of financial markets, treasury products, hedging techniques, and risk management methods.
• Thorough understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks and their impact on client dealings.
• A genuine interest in financial markets, macroeconomic factors, and market-driven business prospects.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• A results-driven, commercially focused mindset with a client-first approach.
• Ability to juggle various tasks efficiently and excel in a fast-moving environment.
