Daytime Janitor

Overview

Samsic Facility Ireland is seeking a dependable Daytime Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at a site in County Cork. This is a permanent, full-time role with an immediate start, offering a structured schedule and an hourly wage of €14.80.

Working Hours and Location

The shift runs from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., five days a week, totaling eight working hours daily at the location in Co. Cork.

Key Duties

• Ensure all offices, communal zones, restrooms, kitchens, and other facility spaces are kept clean and orderly.
• Perform routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces consistently.
• Keep stock of cleaning and hygiene supplies, replenishing them as necessary.
• Manage waste by emptying bins and disposing of refuse properly.
• Address spills or immediate cleaning requirements swiftly during the workday.
• Carry out periodic inspections to guarantee all areas maintain required cleanliness and a professional appearance.
• Alert the Site Manager regarding any maintenance needs or safety hazards observed.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and company policies diligently.
• Treat client assets and equipment with professionalism and care.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous.
• Capability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid authorization to work within Ireland is mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
• Ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Dependability, punctuality, and dedication to maintaining high cleaning standards.
