About the Role and Organisation

We are looking for a driven Data Scientist to contribute significantly to the advancement of the VESTA application, which focuses on pioneering home-based diagnostic and treatment technologies for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in vestibular research eager to lead the development of scalable, data-driven digital health innovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and sustain analytics workflows relevant to designated projects.
  • Extract, organize, and validate data from inertial measurement units (IMU), ensuring methods are reusable and reproducible.
  • Create real-time sensing and feedback algorithms to verify the precision of positional maneuvers.
  • Collaborate intimately with clinical teams to revise and enhance methodological approaches for a cohesive app experience.
  • Engage cooperatively in team projects and meetings, fostering effective communication.
  • Persuade and negotiate with colleagues and researchers to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage workload independently to meet established deadlines.
  • Build and maintain productive networks and relationships with key stakeholders.
