Job description
About the role
This opportunity is for experienced quantitative professionals who want to help improve AI systems. You will collaborate with advanced AI models on tasks such as reviewing AI-produced quantitative analysis, tackling technical challenges, and giving feedback that helps shape how these models handle data, modelling, and scientific reasoning.
The work is well suited to people from fields like data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other quantitative disciplines. If you are comfortable thinking rigorously about data, methods, and models, your background may be a strong fit. Some contributors do this alongside a full-time job, while others make it their main work.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If you are successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will become available on the platform.
What the contract offers
- You can decide which projects to take on and when to work.
- The role lets you work on your own schedule using your own computer from home.
- Hourly rates begin at USD 50 to USD 100+, and some projects may include bonus pay.
Responsibilities
- Check AI-generated quantitative work for accuracy, including statistical analysis, predictive modelling, scientific reasoning, and data-backed conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems across forecasting, experimental analysis, optimisation, and statistical inference.
- Produce clear technical explanations and maintain well-documented analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Prior coding experience is needed, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical methods, predictive modelling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level, plus excellent writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject is preferred, such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
- Additional proof of expertise is welcome, such as a strong Kaggle ranking, AWS/GCP machine learning certifications, or similar credentials.
