Role Overview

The position of Data Entry Specialist requires precise input and upkeep of vital data across digital platforms to maintain data integrity and availability, which is essential for the smooth operation of engineering initiatives. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Input, update, and maintain data within databases and digital systems from various sources.
• Examine data for inaccuracies or inconsistencies and correct errors as needed.
• Create reports and systematically archive completed work.
• Conduct regular data backups to ensure information security.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with data security standards.
• Organize and maintain files and documents effectively.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely data collection and entry.
• Assist with general administrative tasks when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in data entry or a related field.
• High typing speed coupled with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently from a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certifications are advantageous.
• Reliable internet connection and an appropriate home office setup.
