Job description
Role overview
This is a 6-month paid contract position focused on driving the successful rollout of D365 across sites in Singapore and Thailand. The role exists to connect central programme delivery with on-the-ground execution at factory and selling entity level, ensuring each location is fully prepared for deployment, cutover, go-live, and early stabilization.
What you'll do
- Create and keep updated a detailed deployment plan for the Singapore and Thailand D365 rollouts, using the core programme template while adapting it to local site requirements.
- Coordinate all site readiness work across functions such as Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Contracts, HR, and Finance.
- Take full ownership of cutover planning, including checklists, resource planning, and runbooks aligned to programme standards.
- Track operational and technical readiness by defining activities, monitoring progress, and closing out dependencies across site teams.
- Serve as the key connection point between the central programme team and local site stakeholders to keep timelines aligned, resolve issues, and manage change requests.
- Work with functional deployment leads and subject matter experts to confirm business scenarios, verify test results, and plan the transition away from legacy systems.
- Record, manage, and escalate site-specific risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies where needed.
- Support implementation governance, including readiness reviews, go/no-go inputs, early life support preparation, and post-launch stabilization planning.
- Use structured change management approaches to help adoption through communications, local training coordination, and knowledge transfer sessions, while not taking ownership of business readiness itself.
- Monitor and report implementation performance using a set of KPIs that combine programme measures, operational measures, service levels, and post-go-live support indicators.
- Contribute to lessons learned after deployment and share feedback with the central programme for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated history of delivering enterprise business applications, including ERP implementations, within engineering, design, and manufacturing environments.
- Project management qualification such as PMI or PRINCE.
- Proven experience handling large, complex projects with multiple parallel workstreams.
- Strong command of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, HR, communications, and risk management.
- Self-driven and highly motivated, with a strong personal commitment to getting work delivered.
- Comfortable taking a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach.
- Ability to influence and energize teams across many different functions.
Additional information
The contract term is 6 months. Compensation is paid on a salary basis. The assignment is based in Singapore and covers deployments in both Singapore and Thailand.
