Position Summary

The role involves conducting cycle counts according to location to satisfy counting standards and support the identification of root causes for discrepancies in production reporting, material transfers, and related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out cycle counts for inventory locations utilizing ABC classification methodology.
  • Support PIC Supervisor during physical inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with production teams to investigate and resolve variance discrepancies.
  • Apply root cause analysis techniques to detect additional transactional errors.
  • Provide backup assistance for shipping and receiving operations as necessary.
  • Engage in other inventory control projects as assigned by management.
  • Duties and responsibilities may expand periodically as determined by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational or practical training related to inventory management, transaction processing, production reporting, cycle counting, shipping, and receiving.
  • Preferred experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar capacity.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address root causes of inventory inaccuracies.
  • Certification or ability to operate a forklift.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 40 pounds.
