CX Agent Voice Cloning Opportunity (USA)

About the Role

This position is for a client engaged in pioneering AI research focused on next-generation text-to-speech technology designed to generate natural, expressive, and human-like voices. We are looking for talented native American English voice professionals across the United States to submit pristine speech recordings to assist in training and assessing advanced AI voice models.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality voice recordings tailored to conversational, narrative, instructional, and scripted materials.
• Deliver performances that are natural, emotionally expressive, and controlled in aspects like tone, pace, pronunciation, and emotion.
• Ensure vocal consistency regarding quality, accent, and delivery across multiple recording sessions.
• Follow precise recording instructions concerning microphone configuration, recording environment, and file specifications.
• Generate varied takes demonstrating different emotions, emphasis, and speaking styles as requested.
• Maintain recordings that fulfill quality standards appropriate for AI training and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Native speaker of American English residing in the United States.
• Established professional background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, broadcasting, or similar voice-related domains.
• Access to a professional or near-professional audio setup including a good-quality microphone and a quiet recording space.
• Strong skills in pronunciation, diction, vocal clarity, and emotional expression.
• Capability to adhere accurately to scripts while keeping delivery natural and captivating.
• Availability of approximately 5 to 10 hours weekly during the project timeline.

Additional Information

• Voice recordings will be used solely to create a voice clone for a client's internal customer experience AI agent.
• Applicants must consent to their voice being utilized specifically for this AI voice cloning project.
• The voice data will not be repurposed beyond its initially authorized uses.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in recording for text-to-speech systems, audiobooks, IVR platforms, or AI speech datasets.
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
• Ability to perform varied vocal styles including conversational, professional, energetic, instructional, and calm.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistently high-quality production.

Engagement Details

• The role operates as an independent contractor position.
• Work is fully remote and offers flexible hours.
• Weekly commitment ranges from 5 to 10 hours, contingent on project demands and performance.
• Project duration and continuity depend on business needs and individual contributions.

Contract and Payment Terms

• This is an independent contractor engagement without employer or client confidential data access requirements.
• Work is performed remotely on a self-directed schedule.
• Project length may be adjusted as needed for business or performance reasons.
• Payments are made weekly through approved payment systems for completed work.
• Note: Candidates needing H-1B or STEM OPT sponsorship are not eligible at this time.
