Position overview

TEAM Inc. is seeking CWB Level 1 and Level 2 Visual Inspectors to contribute to active and upcoming projects in Saint John, New Brunswick. This opportunity is based in Canada and is intended to support work in demanding industrial and nuclear settings where safety, quality, and compliance are essential.

The role is centered on confirming weld quality, checking that work aligns with the relevant codes and standards, and helping protect client assets through reliable inspection practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out visual inspections in line with CWB rules, applicable standards, client specifications, and site processes.
  • Check welder qualifications, welding procedures, material compliance, and workmanship quality.
  • Prepare and finalize inspection reports, records, and other quality documentation.
  • Assist quality control efforts during fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and on-site personnel.
  • Follow all safety, regulatory, and site-specific requirements without exception.
  • Work the scheduled Monday to Thursday shift pattern for 12 hours per day.
  • Be prepared for either day or night shifts, with overtime possible beyond the standard schedule.

Required qualifications

  • Valid CWB Visual Inspector Level 1 or Level 2 certification is mandatory.
  • Applicants must be Canadian residents.
  • Sound knowledge of welding codes, standards, and quality control methods is required.
  • Comfort working in tightly regulated industrial or nuclear environments is necessary.
  • Strong ability to handle inspection reporting and documentation tasks.

Preferred qualifications

  • Local candidates from Saint John or nearby areas are preferred.
  • Experience with outage work, maintenance assignments, or capital project support is an advantage.
