Customer Vehicle Service Agent (Lihue Airport)

Role Overview

As a Customer Vehicle Service Agent at SIXT in Lihue, you will help ensure that rental vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for customers. The role centers on vehicle presentation, basic upkeep, damage checks, and delivering a welcoming experience for travelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for rental by washing, polishing, and completing routine checks such as fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Review returned cars for any damage, monitor service notices, and work with the team to handle maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle lot organized so traffic flows smoothly and cars are placed in the correct areas.
• Greet customers professionally, check vehicles for personal items, and answer questions about returns, charges, and optional services.
• Move vehicles between airports, dealerships, and car wash locations as needed.

Candidate Profile

• You should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in vehicle service or a similar field.
• Experience in car rental, automotive maintenance, or dealership operations is preferred.
• You need strong verbal communication skills to interact well with customers, teammates, and supervisors.
• Attention to detail is important for spotting damage, checking fuel levels, and recording findings accurately.
• You must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• You should be available for 40 hours per week, including day and evening shifts, and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• The job requires the ability to move in and out of vehicles throughout the shift, and you must be willing to wear a company uniform.
• Knowing additional languages is considered an advantage.
