Job description
Overview
Mindrift offers project-based AI work for specialists who help leading technology companies test, assess, and refine AI systems. This is not a permanent role; participation is tied to individual projects.
About the work
Each assignment is different, but contributors may be asked to create and review scenarios and judge AI responses for accuracy and communication quality.
- Develop and assess fee-related inquiry scenarios and statement-clarification cases, including checking that charges align with published schedules and separating descriptor-mapping questions from genuine fraud reports.
- Set up autopay and payment-enrollment situations with built-in errors such as the wrong recipient, insufficient funds rules, an incorrect draft date, or skipped confirmation steps.
- Construct card replacement and fraud-claim scenarios that test card-block urgency, identification of fraud signals, collection of intake details, and a smooth transfer to the disputes team.
- Write account-closure scenarios that test retention-offer eligibility, pending-transaction checks, and whether offers are correctly withheld from customers who do not qualify.
- Evaluate answers for both correctness and communication style, including empathy under pressure, the right tone for voice or chat, and clear wording that does not overstate what can be done.
Candidate profile
This opportunity suits people with experience in customer service, banking, or financial services who are interested in part-time project work rather than a permanent position.
How the process works
You apply, complete the required qualification step(s), join a project, carry out tasks, and receive payment for the work completed.
Time commitment
During active phases, the expected workload is about 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and not a guaranteed number of hours.
Compensation
Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of $60 per hour on this project, depending on experience level and work pace. Pay can differ from one project to another based on scope, difficulty, and the expertise required.
Application notes
Please send your CV in English and include your English proficiency level.
Eligibility and background
The role is a strong match for applicants with a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or another related discipline. A background of at least 2 years in customer service, banking, retail, or financial services is preferred, along with current or recent experience in customer support, banking, finance, or similar adjacent roles. Experience as a QA analyst, call-center trainer, or conversation designer is considered an advantage. Strong written English at C1 level or above is required. Candidates should also be able to quickly determine whether a request falls within service scope and interpret fee schedules or policy documents to identify the correct rule for a situation.
Employment note
This work is project-based and non-permanent. Tasks are available only while a project is active.
