Role Overview
Samsung Ads is expanding its Customer Success team by hiring a Customer Success Manager (CSM) based in New York City. This strategic role supports the Sales team by managing key accounts and verticals to contribute directly to quarterly revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of delivering excellent customer service, optimizing campaign performance, and accomplishing renewal goals. A deep understanding of digital advertising and programmatic platforms is essential. The CSM will report to the Manager, Customer Success within the Sales and Marketing division and will collaborate across departments to build a premier advertising organization focused on superior customer experience and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Sales representatives to provide comprehensive account support including handling RFP responses, media planning, campaign kickoff, and reporting on campaign performance.
- Identify and implement upsell opportunities by analyzing campaign success and employing consultative sales techniques to increase revenue.
- Lead campaign kickoff meetings, ensuring timelines are met while managing communication related to campaign updates, troubleshooting, optimization strategies, and final reviews.
- Develop and manage AI-driven advertising campaigns using machine learning to forecast ad performance and automate optimizations aligned with client objectives.
- Coordinate with internal product and operations teams regarding upcoming campaigns, essential requirements, and performance KPIs.
- Maintain deep expertise on Samsung Ads’ platform and offerings to act as the key resource for upselling and client advisement.
- Generate best practice guidelines and share insights from campaign results to support client renewals and business growth.
- Work alongside the Marketing team to create customized marketing solutions reflecting client goals.
- Educate new and existing clients on platform best practices; onboard clients and proactively address areas needing improvement.
- Understand the financial metrics and contribute positively to Samsung Ads’ annual sales growth targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Account Management roles supporting Advertising Sales functions.
- Track record of managing and growing existing client accounts with upselling, cross-selling, and relationship development.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational ability, and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with Connected TV (CTV) and/or mobile user acquisition campaigns using Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) attribution methods and reporting.
- Direct client interaction experience with demonstrated presentation skills during meetings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem and programmatic media buying.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected annual salary range for candidates based in New York is $110,000 to $135,000, subject to skills, experience, and internal parity considerations.
