About the Role
This position is available at Amazon's corporate offices in Santa Monica, CA, Austin, TX, or New York, NY. As a Customer Success Manager in the Consumables Beauty segment, you will be pivotal in accelerating revenue growth and transforming vendor partnerships into strategic business assets on the largest e-commerce platform worldwide. Your efforts will directly affect major retail brands and enhance millions of customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with vendors to craft and implement comprehensive strategic plans involving marketing, merchandising, and supply chain operations.
- Analyze relevant performance data and deliver actionable insights to foster business expansion and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships by acting as the main liaison for vendor requirements.
- Support vendors in utilizing Amazon’s systems, policies, and potential growth avenues while ensuring exemplary operational standards.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at refining processes and fostering innovation for organizational improvement.
Daily Activities
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to address vendor concerns and apply effective solutions.
- Evaluate performance metrics to pinpoint opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present strategic recommendations to vendor partners.
- Engage in team meetings and knowledge exchange sessions.
- Manage various projects simultaneously while upholding excellent service quality.
About the Team
You will join a supportive team of 6-10 Customer Success Managers who emphasize innovation, continuous development, and work-life harmony. Team activities and clear paths for career progression are integral to the group environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vendor or client-facing roles such as Account Management, Vendor Management, Buying, Planning, or Merchandising.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis and presentation software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in operational excellence, continuous or process improvement roles.
- Experience within the retail, e-commerce, or technology sectors.
- Project management expertise.
- Proficiency in visualizing data through various tools.
- Experience handling multiple stakeholders effectively.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging by location (e.g., $70,400 to $101,800 annually in Santa Monica, CA), sign-on bonuses, restricted stock units, and comprehensive benefits like medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, 401(k) matching, paid leave, and parental support.
