About the role
This is a customer service position for someone who enjoys solving problems and working through challenges. The role is based onsite in Wairau Park, Auckland, and the working hours are:
- Monday: 9:00am to 5:30pm
- Thursday: 12:30pm to 9:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am to 5:30pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Key responsibilities
- Support customers at the counter with payment-related queries, including hire purchase arrangements and credit applications.
- Assist with service repair enquiries and sales-related questions.
- Take a proactive approach to resolving customer issues and concerns.
- Handle administrative duties that support the team and customer experience.
- Make customer calls when needed and help ensure expectations are met.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone with strong people skills who can stay composed in busy or stressful situations. Because this role includes customer calls and admin work, you’ll need a warm phone manner, along with clear written and verbal communication.
You should be able to learn computer systems quickly and show genuine enthusiasm for technology. A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to creating a positive customer experience are essential.
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for long periods.
- Genuine interest in helping customers and supporting the team.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Interest in technology.
