Overview
Join a prominent Marine & Shipping company in Singapore as a Customer Service Officer specializing in Order Management. This role involves overseeing the entire Order-to-Delivery (OTD) cycle, collaborating closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and customers to achieve flawless order fulfillment and superior customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of the Order-to-Delivery process, from order receipt through to successful delivery.
- Handle the processing of customer orders and actively monitor order statuses to guarantee accurate and timely deliveries.
- Liaise with customers, Sales, Global Supply Chain, and Logistics to resolve any order, delivery, or supply-related concerns.
- Respond promptly to queries about product availability, pricing, lead times, delivery timelines, surcharges, and order status.
- Assist the Sales team by implementing agreed pricing, supply plans, and payment terms for designated accounts.
- Prepare delivery documents to facilitate invoicing and ensure follow-up on pending payments.
- Establish and nurture robust customer relationships through proactive communication and swift issue resolution.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of practical experience in Order Management or the Order-to-Delivery process within a B2B context.
- Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Marine, Shipping, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, and Logistics across the order lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Diploma or Degree qualification is required.
- Willingness to offer after-hours support as necessitated by the business, including occasional overtime, weekend shifts, and urgent customer request handling.
Additional Information
- Initial three months require full-time onsite presence for training and transition; subsequently, a hybrid model with three days onsite weekly applies.
- The company provides shuttle services from selected pickup locations.
- Immediate joining is preferred; candidates with a notice period up to 30 days are also considered.
