Role overview
Weir & Sons is hiring an Aftersales Assistant to join its Customer Service Department at the Grafton Street store in Dublin. The role sits within a dedicated after-sales team and focuses on delivering excellent service to clients while supporting premium brand partners. The position blends office administration, sales support, and face-to-face customer service.
Working pattern
This is a 37.5-hour work week, scheduled across 5 days out of 7. Standard trading hours are Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6:00pm and Sunday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. The role also requires availability for bank holidays and late-night trading when rostered. Any such additional hours are paid as overtime.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a mix of administrative, sales, and front-of-house customer service tasks.
- Support the after-sales process for customers and premium brand partners.
- Communicate professionally with clients by phone and in person.
- Work collaboratively within a structured team environment.
- Use initiative to help resolve customer queries and service issues.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, well presented, articulate, and friendly. Strong phone etiquette, attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently with clients and premium brands are important. The role also calls for someone who can understand the expectations of the luxury after-sales market and contribute with sound judgement, problem-solving ability, and effective communication.
Preferred background
Experience in office administration, call centres, customer service, reception, or hospitality would be an advantage. Previous exposure to jewellery or luxury retail is also desirable.
