Job Summary
The Customer Service, General Labourer will perform daily on-site duties to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, while maintaining a clean work environment. This role is based in Martensville, SK, and requires adherence to the company's safety program and active participation as a team member.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, permanent position with a work schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to all SECURE safety policies, procedures, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Participate in all safety meetings, including daily tailgates and last-minute risk assessments.
- Provide customer service and perform basic computer tasks.
- Process vehicles within the shop.
- Drain fluids from vehicles.
- Pull parts from vehicles.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Operate and maintain all power and small tools.
- Clean, lubricate, and fuel equipment, and perform general site housekeeping.
- Report any required equipment maintenance to the supervisor or repair shop.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Customer service skills with basic computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of vehicle makes and models.
- Previous experience working on vehicles.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Forklift experience is an asset but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Capacity to multitask in a high-paced setting.
- Punctuality and dependability.
- Must be fit for work each day.
