About the Role

Step into an exciting opportunity in the aviation sector with Executive Aviation's St. John's operation, collaborating with various airline partners. Joining this vibrant team, you'll deliver exceptional customer service to air travelers, with chances to enjoy discounted travel benefits and professional development in a fast-paced environment dedicated to growth and reliability. This role is a 3-month seasonal contract from late July to late October 2026 based at St. John's Airport (YYT).

Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers during check-in processes.
  • Provide support for self-service kiosks at the airport.
  • Help prepare aircraft to ensure timely departures.
  • Manage boarding and deplaning procedures smoothly.
  • Welcome arriving passengers courteously.
  • Adhere to specific airline check-in policies and protocols.
  • Collaborate positively with flight crew members.
  • Consistently handle physical tasks involving lifting up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
  • Perform light grooming duties when required.
  • Enforce airline and airport regulations firmly and politely.

Qualifications

  • At least two years experience in a customer-facing role showcasing excellent service skills.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability understanding their critical role in airline operations.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Strong communication abilities in both one-on-one and group contexts, alongside proficiency with relevant computer software.
  • Completed or pursuing a Diploma in Travel and Tourism, Marketing, or Business.
  • Airport work experience is advantageous.
  • Availability to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must meet all employment requirements including holding a valid driver’s license, passing a criminal background check, and obtaining a Transport Canada Restricted Area Pass.

The salary for this position ranges from $18.40 to $22.45 per hour.
