Overview
This role acts as PepsiCo’s on-ground market representative across one or more distributors operating at varying business scales. The position focuses on building and executing joint business plans, strengthening sales capability, and supporting steady, sustainable growth.
The Customer Executive also helps distributors grow by coaching the distributor team and sales representatives, while addressing market issues and driving additional business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Core market responsibilities include achieving secondary monthly targets, supporting gross revenue growth, planning routes to improve productivity, expanding outlet coverage, increasing SKU presence in existing outlets, ensuring stock availability, and following planogram-based rack execution. The role also requires building strong market relationships to improve customer satisfaction.
For training and communication, the role involves one-to-one coaching of PSRs to improve business understanding and sales capability, setting monthly targets for each salesperson, supporting field execution coaching, reviewing performance through regular sales reports, and sharing incentive information to motivate the team toward target achievement.
Distributor management includes distributor/hub/spoke appointment and retirement for territories, maintaining distributor health and ROI through adherence to the joint business plan, supporting recruitment and retention of sales representatives, reducing expiry and stale stock through FIFO and stacking discipline, tracking accurate and timely order delivery, ensuring food compliance for every distributor, and building distributor capability in PepsiCo sales processes.
Qualifications
The preferred background includes knowledge of FMCG sales and distribution models, working familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook, basic English, local language ability as a plus, and data proficiency related to ROI models.
