Role Summary

Under the supervision of the Checkout Manager and Team Leaders, this role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers at IKEA Tampines. You will work in a fast-paced setting to facilitate payment processes efficiently, handling transactions accurately and with friendliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with both opening and closing procedures of checkout counters, including cash handling and deposit preparation.
• Provide support and respond to customer inquiries, addressing any escalations diplomatically.
• Guide customers in scanning products and operate scanning devices; troubleshoot any technical transaction issues.
• Process all payment types in line with the established standard operating procedures.
• Adhere strictly to department SOPs and cooperate fully with audit requirements.
• Contribute towards meeting departmental key performance indicators and core activities.
• Support other Customer Relations Department functions as required.
