About the Role
Join MetLife's Global Customer Service and Operations (GCSO) team as a Customer Care Advocate for Long Term Care insurance. This role centers on building trust, showing empathy, and embracing ongoing improvement to provide a remarkable customer experience. By handling incoming calls, resolving issues, and simplifying procedures with innovative technology, you'll be key in delivering exceptional service to millions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service for Long Term Care insurance offerings.
- Handle inbound customer inquiries effectively, documenting interactions accurately.
- Investigate and resolve errors, contract issues, and delays in processing.
- Serve as a communication bridge between customers and operational departments.
- Utilize computer systems proficiently to track issues and gather needed information.
- Follow designated work schedules and consistently meet performance goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of customer service experience.
- Flexibility to work primarily virtually with necessary office presence as required.
- Availability during 8:00 am to 6:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday, including overtime and varied shifts as business demands.
- Strong computer skills including typing and efficient navigation across multiple screens.
- Capability to multitask while communicating with customers.
- Basic math, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
