Custodian I - Night and Day Shifts

Role Overview

This role involves performing physically demanding tasks focused on maintaining cleanliness and care of school facilities and their surrounding grounds. The duties include but are not limited to dusting, vacuuming, washing, and mopping. The position requires adherence to established cleaning procedures and standards, with detailed instructions provided for unusual assignments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out various cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, washing, and mopping within school buildings and grounds.
• Perform manual labor tasks required to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare and submit minor reports related to custodial tasks as assigned.
• Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines for routine and special cleaning tasks.
• Accept supervision and inspections from custodial management to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
