Position Overview
This role involves hands-on duties focused on the maintenance and cleaning of school facilities and surrounding grounds. It demands comprehensive familiarity with various cleaning techniques, procedural guidelines, and equipment handling.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of school buildings and outdoor areas to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Operate cleaning machinery and tools proficiently.
- Work independently without constant supervision, ensuring all tasks are completed as assigned.
- Take initiative in leading tasks when necessary to ensure efficient job completion.
- Adhere to cleanliness standards as monitored and evaluated by the custodial manager.
Additional Information
The role is subject to inspection for compliance with established cleanliness and safety protocols. It includes night shifts lasting approximately 10 months and day shifts for about 2 months.
