Job description
Role Overview
This role involves hands-on cleaning and upkeep work for school buildings and surrounding grounds. The position follows set procedures and requires carrying out routine custodial tasks to maintain a clean, orderly environment.
What You Will Do
- Dust surfaces and fixtures throughout the building.
- Vacuum floors and other appropriate areas.
- Wash and mop floors as needed.
- Complete minor reports or related routine records.
- Handle other assigned custodial duties as requested.
Work Process and Supervision
Most duties are performed according to established guidelines. If an unusual task or issue comes up, specific directions will be provided. Performance and cleanliness standards are reviewed by the custodial manager.
