Role Overview

This full-time custodial position is based in Perry, Florida and supports the upkeep, safety, and overall presentation of a school facility. The job involves a mix of cleaning, light maintenance, grounds care, and after-hours security-related duties as needed.

Key Duties

• Carry out regular custodial, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks to help keep the campus safe and visually presentable, including using and maintaining equipment properly.
• Help move and lift heavy items when required.
• Work with the immediate supervisor to spot custodial, maintenance, and safety concerns that need attention.
• May be responsible for locking and securing the building after school hours and following evening events.
• Follow state rules for storing flammable materials and for disposing of trash, rubbish, and other waste correctly.
• May be asked to keep an eye on hallways, restrooms, walkways, and lunchroom spaces at the school.
• Maintain a strong level of confidentiality at all times.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the site administrator.
