Job description
Position Summary
This role is responsible for cleaning and keeping assigned spaces in good condition so they meet client and customer expectations. Duties can differ by location depending on site needs and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to support a secure work environment, including compliance with OSHA, local, state, federal, and company standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and healthy for others who use the space.
- Use and maintain custodial and housekeeping equipment properly.
- Clean assigned locations according to company and client expectations.
- Collect, sort, and dispose of waste correctly, then move it to the proper disposal areas.
- Report repair or maintenance issues through the appropriate work order process.
- Lock and unlock the facility when required and help maintain site security.
- Protect company property and assets.
- Take on other tasks as directed by the manager.
Working Conditions
The role can involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and long periods of walking or standing. Uniforms and/or personal protective equipment may be required.
Qualifications
Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to follow basic safety practices and work carefully around physical hazards and hazardous cleaning chemicals.
