Curriculum Specialist K-8 Math Focus for 2026-2027 School Year

Position Overview

The Compton Unified School District seeks a full-time Curriculum Specialist for K-8 focusing on Mathematics for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role requires strong curriculum leadership and teaching experience to improve math education across grades K-8.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a valid California clear multiple or single subject teaching credential in Mathematics.
• Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred; current enrollment in a master's program is also considered.
• A minimum of three years of successful credentialed teaching experience.
• Demonstrated success in curriculum leadership roles.
• CLAD certification is mandatory; BCLAD certification is desirable.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Salary range varies based on experience: $67,404 to $125,656 annually for credentialed candidates.
• An additional yearly stipend of $1,000 is provided for candidates holding a Doctorate Degree.
• The position follows a 184-day work calendar.
• Full-time employment status with on-site presence required.
