Job description
Position Overview
The Compton Unified School District seeks a full-time Curriculum Specialist for K-8 focusing on Mathematics for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role requires strong curriculum leadership and teaching experience to improve math education across grades K-8.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California clear multiple or single subject teaching credential in Mathematics.
- Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred; current enrollment in a master's program is also considered.
- A minimum of three years of successful credentialed teaching experience.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum leadership roles.
- CLAD certification is mandatory; BCLAD certification is desirable.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
