Role Summary

The Culture & Onboarding Specialist acts as the primary facilitator for new employee onboarding and initial learning within the ecosystem. This role manages the delivery of all HR, cultural, and business system onboarding education during an employee's first week, cultivating a cohesive, interactive, and exemplary introduction experience. This position involves creating and maintaining onboarding content, guiding instructor-led sessions, engaging employees in company culture and systems, and continuously refining the processes based on feedback and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all onboarding training related to HR programs, company culture, business applications, and tools.
  • Conduct approximately eight instructor-led onboarding sessions weekly, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning environment.
  • Create a first-week experience that fosters inclusion, confidence, and connection to the company values and culture.
  • Develop and update curriculum, facilitator guides, presentations, job aids, and digital learning resources.
  • Collaborate with HR experts and business leaders to enhance onboarding content and address organizational learning gaps.
  • Deliver tailored training to meet specific departmental needs beyond standard onboarding programs.
  • Use AI and emerging technologies to improve training efficiency and engagement.
  • Perform regular check-ins with new employees to assess learning progress and resolve any onboarding challenges.
  • Analyze participant feedback and survey data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with the Onboarding Manager and team to support seamless transitions and program continuity.
  • Travel up to 10% within the US as required for business activities.
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned while adhering to project deadlines and budgets.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced expertise in adult learning principles, onboarding strategies, employee engagement, and designing new hire experiences.
  • Proven ability to facilitate engaging instructor-led and virtual training sessions for diverse groups.
  • Strong skills in curriculum and instructional design with an emphasis on adult education methods.
  • Experience in creating comprehensive training materials including guides, presentations, and job aids.
  • Ability to evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and implement continuous improvements.
  • Intermediate understanding of HR programs, employee lifecycle, policies, benefits, payroll systems, and compliance related to onboarding.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms, as well as leveraging AI tools for enhanced learning.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication capabilities with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Availability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, education, or a related discipline, or
  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, or
  • Two years of HR experience plus at least five years of additional relevant experience.

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Frequently required to remain seated and occasionally move within an office environment.
  • Up to 10% travel across the United States to support business-related events, meetings, or conferences.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this remote role within the United States is estimated between $78,750 and $95,812.50 annually, potentially exceeding typical job board salary ranges for qualified candidates.
