About the Role

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a CT Technologist, playing a vital role in our Imaging Department focused on delivering exceptional patient care. As a CT Technologist, you will work with autonomy, acting as the primary technical resource and patient advocate during CT procedures. You will be responsible for conducting CT scanning processes with minimal supervision and assisting radiologists with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to perform scans on various body regions producing clinically diagnostic images to aid doctors in diagnosing illnesses and injuries.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Perform CT scans across a wide patient demographic, including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Maintain availability and sterility of supplies in the assigned area.
  • Prepare CT rooms for procedures and manage the development of imaging films.

Work Schedule

The position involves rotating shifts from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday with 10-hour workdays.

Requirements

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required; CT registry certification is preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology training program.
  • Physical capability to perform the duties including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for prolonged periods; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to meet the visual, auditory, and mobility demands in a fast-paced environment, including moving patients and handling equipment such as wheelchairs and stretchers.
