Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Crewing Executive to join our maritime team in Singapore. This position is ideal for professionals aiming to deepen their expertise in crew management and maritime compliance while contributing to the seamless operation of vessel crew arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage crew rotation schedules and manning plans ensuring vessel operations comply with contracts.
- Source, assess, and onboard qualified seafarers aligning with fleet staffing requirements.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of officers and ratings for future deployments.
- Monitor and verify validity of certificates, licences, and travel documents in compliance with STCW and MLC 2006 standards.
- Coordinate travel logistics such as flights, accommodations, and transfers for crew embarkation and disembarkation.
- Serve as a primary contact for seafarers addressing welfare issues and workplace concerns attentively.
- Prepare crewing reports, manpower forecasts, and analyze data using Microsoft Excel to guide decision-making.
- Handle crew contracts, input payroll data, and confirm entitlements in liaison with related departments.
- Promote safety culture by reporting incidents and non-conformities following HSSEQ criteria.
- Protect personal data of crew members adhering to data privacy regulations and assist with audits through crew management software.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Approximately 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in crewing or maritime administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations including STCW, MLC 2006, and Minimum Safe Manning requirements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with crew management systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Compensation
The monthly salary offered is between SGD 4,500 and SGD 5,000.
