Overview

IZI South Africa seeks a responsible Crew Member for its Upington branch to manage the collection and delivery of client consignments. The role requires handling logistical tasks such as loading trucks, verifying equipment, and completing records using electronic scanning devices, ensuring all operations comply with company policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver valuable consignments to customers while following strict security procedures and using required security devices.
• Perform deliveries professionally, upholding IZI's core values.
• Complete accurate documentation and scanning for audit compliance.
• Safeguard customer assets as their custodian.
• Promptly deliver all bank-issued deposit slips to clients.
• Handle consignments for vault delivery, ensuring precise handover and scanning processes.
• Maintain neatness and order in the crew compartment and Vault area.
• Remain vigilant to potential security threats including suspicious vehicles and people; report immediately to Control Room.
• Select and use tactical positions and routes for safe client interactions and timely cover during vehicle exit and entry.
• Conduct continuous surveillance on routes to detect risks.

Health and Safety

• Adopt a 'Safety First' mindset adhering to all company health and safety protocols beyond vehicle operation.
• Avoid exposing self, assets, crew, or the public to hazards.
• Engage in branch safety meetings and education programs.
• Report all safety incidents to Control Room and secure incident numbers.
• Wear mandated protective gear, including bulletproof vests, during duty.
• Follow instructions from branch management diligently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum one year experience in Cash In Transit operations.
• Possess PSIRA Grade C Certification and Cash In Transit Certification.
• Hold a SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate (handgun).
• Submit Statement of Results from PFTC or SASSETA for business-use firearms.
• Clear credit and criminal records required.
• Not registered as a director of any company or business.
• Thrive under pressure with solid time management abilities.
• Strong communication, coaching, mentoring, and customer service skills.
• Capable in problem-solving, decision-making, report writing, and risk/security management.
• Leadership experience and strong work ethic expected.
• Technologically adept for electronic documentation and scanning.

Additional Information

• Applicants must be available for a four-day pre-shooting assessment and OBET training course.
• Medical confirmation is required at the applicant's expense.
