Credit Risk Expert

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Leader to enhance the risk management framework for our Consumer Lending division, with a particular emphasis on Credit Cards within the Saudi Arabian market. This position is crucial for developing strong credit policies, underwriting standards, and risk strategies that effectively balance business expansion, regulatory adherence, and financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit Risk & Policy Management: Develop, review, and implement credit risk policies that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Underwriting & Decisioning: Supervise the complete underwriting process, provide guidance on complex cases, and improve decision-making through advanced analytics.
• Product & Portfolio Management: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Business teams to refine Credit Card offerings while effectively managing associated risks.
• Analytics & Reporting: Utilize data to monitor the health of the credit portfolio, track delinquency rates, and assess profitability, delivering insightful and actionable reports.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technology departments to ensure smooth operational execution.
• SIMAH & Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee compliance with SIMAH regulations and serve as a key expert on Saudi credit bureau data.
• Leadership: Guide and develop risk and product teams, cultivating a culture that prioritizes performance and risk awareness.

Requirements

• Possess 12 to 15 years of experience in Credit Risk, specifically within Consumer Lending, with a focus on Credit Cards.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the Saudi Credit Cards market.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in Credit Policy, Product Management, Underwriting, and Risk Analytics.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of SIMAH products, reports, and operational processes.
• Showcase strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing diverse stakeholders.
• Be results-oriented, adaptable, and agile in fast-paced and evolving environments.
