Role Overview

We are currently expanding into the French market and seek a dedicated person to bring our brand to life locally. This position is not about stepping into an established structure but about shaping our brand's presence, voice, and sales in France from the ground up. You will focus on creative content and paid social campaigns, adapting our successful German ads authentically for the French audience, discovering new hooks and angles, and ensuring the brand feels native rather than simply translated.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt top-performing German creative content for the French market with genuine localization in messaging, tone, and visuals rather than direct translation.
• Develop new hooks, angles, and offers tailored to resonate in France.
• Conceptualize and brief both static and video ad creatives for ongoing testing.
• Analyze creative performance to determine which ideas to advance or discontinue.
• Collaborate closely with a founder overseeing the French market and paid campaigns, sharing strategic direction and responsibilities.
• Identify, brief, and manage French content creators and producers of user-generated content (UGC) to maintain a steady stream of fresh creative material.
• Establish initial creator partnerships focused on quality content production rather than mere reach.
• Build and maintain French social media channels as authentic brand and trust-building platforms.
• Create local content concepts suited to French target audiences.
• Ensure the Shopify store is not only translated but fully localized for the French customer experience.
• Adjust product descriptions, advertisements, and marketing messages to suit French market expectations.
• Develop and refine French email marketing sequences using tools such as Klaviyo, from copywriting to continuous optimization.
• Enhance the customer journey for a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
• Continuously optimize marketing efforts based on data and user feedback.
• Participate actively in shaping the market entry strategy for France.

Candidate Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in French and fluent English; German skills are advantageous.
• Approximately 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in social media, paid social, and/or e-commerce marketing.
• A strong instinct for impactful social creatives that capture attention and encourage engagement.
• Passion for data-driven marketing with an understanding of performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and CTR.
• Interest and experience in leveraging creator and UGC content as growth drivers.
• Familiarity with Shopify and email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo) is preferred.
• Analytical, organized, and independent work style.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude paired with enthusiasm for assuming responsibility in a young market environment.
