Role overview

This position is focused on collecting and delivering parcels safely, accurately, and within the required timeframe. The courier is expected to verify package contents, use scanning procedures to confirm order correctness, protect shipments during handling, and provide a high standard of customer service.

Key duties

• Pick up and deliver packages safely while following assigned routes and strict delivery schedules.
• Check and scan parcel contents to make sure the right items are being collected and delivered.
• Offer courteous customer service and handle parcels in a way that keeps them secure.
• Immediately flag delivery problems, damaged items, or incorrect address details.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed.

Education and experience

Applicants should have secondary education or an equivalent qualification. The role also requires at least one year of professional driving experience.

Licensing and job requirements

Candidates must hold one of the required Australian licence classifications: a minimum C Class (Car) licence or a minimum Medium Rigid (MR) Truck licence.
