Overview
A prominent global chemicals firm is searching for a commercially focused sales expert to enhance B2B sales, cultivate fresh business opportunities, and oversee key client relationships throughout Africa and the GCC regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives and expand the customer base in assigned territories.
- Manage and nurture relationships with major accounts to ensure continued growth.
- Identify and secure new business prospects within the industrial chemicals sector.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years of hands-on B2B sales experience in sectors such as industrial chemicals, petrochemicals, solvents, lubricants, base oils, polymers, specialty chemicals, or coatings.
- An established client network and proven sales track record within the industrial chemicals industry.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers while maintaining existing accounts.
- Experience in dealing with manufacturers, distributors, and industrial consumers.
- Strong technical knowledge related to industrial chemical products and their applications.
- Relevant academic background in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to undertake frequent travel and ability to work independently with personal vehicle, laptop, and home office equipment.
