Role Overview

We are seeking a Country Manager to lead and expand Notion’s operations in Singapore. This leadership role involves launching and scaling the business within the country by driving initial market momentum, converting early opportunities into key customer wins, and establishing scalable processes. You will oversee the Singapore business's revenue, lead the sales team, and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, professional services, and other teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own overall revenue generation for Notion Singapore
• Hire and cultivate a high-performing sales team focused on pipeline and revenue growth
• Gain deep insights into current and potential Notion users in Singapore to shape market strategies
• Foster partnerships with the local ecosystem including startups, communities, and strategic partners
• Promote and represent Notion’s brand publicly through media, events, and executive engagements
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure customers achieve significant outcomes with Notion
• Continuously identify opportunities to expand Notion’s regional presence

Candidate Profile

• Possess a founder mindset, driven by Notion’s mission to build impactful tools for work, and able to establish operations from the ground up
• Technically adept with AI and capable of demonstrating Notion’s products and integrations to technical audiences
• Deeply connected within Singapore’s startup, venture capital, community, and media networks
• Skilled at creating sustainable partner ecosystems and programs beyond one-time events
• Effective public speaker comfortable engaging with press, podcasts, conferences, and executives at all levels
• Strong collaborator who measures ecosystem efforts and manages effective handoffs to regional teams
• Experienced sales leader with a proven record of building teams that consistently meet revenue targets
• Data-driven strategist capable of setting goals, tracking progress, and making informed investment choices

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience including at least 3 years in management roles
• Track record in sales, business development, or market expansion, preferably with exposure to Southeast Asian markets across startup to enterprise segments
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous early-stage environments
• Passionate about customer success and revenue growth with strong empathy
• Fluent in English; additional regional language skills are advantageous

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in high-growth SaaS or AI companies operating within Southeast Asia
• Fluency in Mandarin, Malay, or other local languages is a plus
• Experience promoting productivity, collaboration, or developer tool solutions
• Demonstrated success in community-led or product-led growth initiatives
• Curious and proactive attitude toward adopting AI tools to enhance work efficiency
