Overview
Join a premier deep tech investment platform in Singapore as the Corporate & Strategy Planning Lead. Collaborate closely with senior leadership and various teams to shape the organisation's long-term strategic agenda, influence fund-level priorities, and steer investment directions. This pivotal role involves guiding transformational initiatives at the crossroads of investment, innovation, and public policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the formulation and enhancement of long-term corporate and investment platform strategic plans.
- Develop strategic viewpoints regarding fund positioning, portfolio assembly, deployment priorities, and sector-specific approaches.
- Analyze market conditions, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors to detect emerging risks and prospects.
- Create strategic recommendations and polished presentations for senior management, boards, and key stakeholders.
- Lead strategic projects aligned with enterprise priorities across investment, corporate operations, and ecosystem collaborations.
- Champion initiatives on competitive intelligence, digital transformation, and AI integration.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and manage multidisciplinary stakeholder coordination for execution.
- Oversee annual corporate planning, enterprise workplan development, and performance monitoring.
- Design management reports, dashboards, and strategic KPIs to track organisational progress.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for Board and management, summarizing intricate issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Monitor and advise on organisational performance relative to strategic objectives, recommending necessary adjustments.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess 6 to 7 years or more in corporate strategy or related fields, with proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and engage senior-level stakeholders. Experience in at least two of the following is preferred: in-house corporate strategy/planning or CEO office, management consulting, and public sector or government strategy roles. Transitions from consulting to in-house strategy or government to corporate strategy are encouraged. Familiarity with venture capital, private equity, sovereign funds, or government-linked investment entities is advantageous but not mandatory.

Requirements
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 to 7 years’ experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or equivalent strategic roles.
- Track record steering strategy workstreams and enterprise-level initiatives.
- Robust project management and implementation skills.
- High professionalism, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
