Job Overview

Lead and manage corporate settlement processes to ensure transactions are completed accurately, punctually, and in full compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with various internal teams to resolve operational issues and enhance overall process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor adherence to departmental policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring subordinates follow prescribed guidelines.
  • Oversee daily corporate settlement operations to meet established service standards and timelines.
  • Ensure comprehensive and correct processing of all corporate settlement transactions within defined deadlines.
  • Identify and investigate settlement discrepancies, coordinating prompt resolution with relevant departments.
  • Escalate critical operational issues affecting settlement activities and propose measures to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures to safeguard the integrity of settlement transactions.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Banking, Finance, Treasury, Technology, and Payment Operations teams to streamline settlement processes.
  • Participate in and support cross-functional initiatives related to corporate settlement operations.
  • Drive continuous improvements by identifying enhancements in systems and processes aligned with international best practices to reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental policies to promote workplace safety and legal compliance.
  • Carry out additional relevant duties and assignments as directed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Between 4 and 6 years of experience in banking operations or accounting sectors.
  • Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Familiarity with operations processing and systems relevant to settlement functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Riyad Bank’s core processing systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) regulations and other applicable banking rules.
