Role overview
This contract role is for a corporate finance expert who can support the creation of high-difficulty finance prompts and tasks that mirror the work seen in investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance settings. The engagement is remote and involves a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.
What you will do
- Build challenging finance-focused prompts and assignments that reflect real-world complexity in investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance.
- Prepare benchmark answers in Excel and PowerPoint that can be used as objective reference points for evaluating AI model outputs.
- Draft and improve grading rubrics for transaction-related and financial modeling tasks.
- Create, revise, and audit advanced financial models such as 3-statement models, valuation models, LBOs, M&A analyses, and sensitivity analyses.
- Develop transaction analyses and investor-facing materials with a polished, client-ready standard.
- Make sure all work products are accurate, clearly framed, and aligned with accepted industry practices.
Requirements
- Practical experience in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis.
- Strong Excel skills, including scenario analysis and checks for model accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to produce professional PowerPoint decks and investment presentations.
- Good understanding of standard investment banking, private equity, and corporate development templates and workflows.
- Evidence of having worked on live deals, investments, or transaction execution.
