Role Overview
This full-time position of Corporate Finance Consultant, located in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, operates in a hybrid setting with both on-site and remote work days. The consultant will play a crucial role on client projects by constructing and updating financial models, developing budgets and forecasts, and examining financial statements to uncover trends, potential risks, and opportunities. The position demands creating clear and data-driven presentations targeted at both internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial model construction and maintenance for multiple client engagements.
- Develop budgets and forecast models to guide financial planning.
- Analyze financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports to identify significant trends and risks.
- Generate clear and concise presentations translating complex financial data for various stakeholders.
- Partner with Fractional Bookkeepers and Controllers to improve financial reporting quality and procedures within the Fractional CFO services.
- Contribute strategic recommendations based on financial analysis to assist in client decision-making.
Candidate Qualifications
- Solid expertise in corporate finance, capable of building and interpreting three-statement financial models and forecasts.
- Skillful in financial statement analysis and financial reporting accuracy.
- Knowledgeable in GAAP-compliant accrual accounting principles.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiar with various financial analysis software; prior use of accounting or ERP systems advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; certifications such as CFA or CPA are beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial concepts to both finance professionals and non-expert audiences.
- Capability to juggle multiple projects with independence and teamwork in a hybrid work environment, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Preferred background includes experience in consumer products, retail, investment banking, transaction services, or corporate FP&A, though not mandatory.
