Job description
Role overview
A long-standing education group in Singapore is hiring an operations-focused senior leader to oversee a substantial network of centres for one of its brands. The business has been operating for more than 20 years, is known for quality, and is supported by a committed workforce, making this a stable role with meaningful operating scale.
The organisation is strengthening its leadership pipeline and is open to several senior levels, including Operations Director, General Manager, and COO. Depending on the appointment, the role may involve leading a cluster of centres or carrying broader responsibility that includes regional growth.
The group places a high value on continuous learning and is particularly interested in candidates with broad exposure across industries, business models, or functions rather than a career limited to one sector.
Key responsibilities
You will report to senior leadership and hold end-to-end responsibility for financial performance across the network, including revenue, profitability, and cost control. The role involves leading a large, distributed team and partnering closely with centre leaders and the central marketing function.
You will be expected to improve performance across enrolments, service quality, and day-to-day execution, while also contributing to strategic initiatives such as market expansion and service innovation. You will work within a collaborative leadership group focused on improving standards and preparing the business for its next stage of growth.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings at least 15 years of leadership experience in multi-site, consumer-facing operations, with strong preference for genuine P&L ownership. You should be commercially minded, entrepreneurial, empathetic, and comfortable using data to guide decisions.
Strong written communication is important, as the role requires preparing business papers and presenting to senior stakeholders. Backgrounds from a wide range of sectors are welcome, including retail, F&B, healthcare, private education, dental, eldercare, and wellness.
What matters most is sound commercial judgement, solid operational experience, and the ability to lead capable professional teams while balancing growth with quality.
Additional information
There are multiple openings available across different senior leadership levels, including Operations Director, General Manager, and COO.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further consideration.
