As a Contracts Specialist within MEP and Architecture domains, you will play a key role in establishing the commercial and contractual groundwork for significant procurement packages. It is vital for safeguarding commercial interests, managing contractual risks, and fostering seamless collaboration with legal, procurement, commercial, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and administer procurement contracts and Master Purchasing Agreements (MPAs), focusing on commercial terms, risk distribution, compliance, and award documentation.
- Prepare, review, and develop contract documents, schedules for MPAs, commercial terms, and tender conditions.
- Assist in negotiating contract terms, pricing structures, call-off clauses, warranty obligations, and liability conditions.
- Detect contractual risks and propose suitable risk sharing and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with legal, procurement, commercial, and technical departments to finalize contracts.
- Support preparation of award recommendations, approval documentation, and execution processes.
- Manage contract amendments, clarifications, formal notices, and post-award commercial issues.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in contract management, procurement contracts, or commercial management.
- Demonstrated expertise with FIDIC-based construction contracts, framework agreements, supplier contracts or MPAs, including call-off and pricing mechanisms.
- A bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, Law, or related fields.
- Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or developer-driven procurement projects or similar capital project environments.
- Proven ability to maintain thorough procurement records.
- Experience coordinating contractual documentation with legal, procurement, commercial, and technical teams.
- Professional certifications such as MRICS, CIPS, or legal qualifications.
