Position Overview
The Contract Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Consultant supports Servant's internal hiring alongside Servant Talent client projects. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers, clients, and delivery teams to source, attract, and secure outstanding candidates in technology, product, design, and business domains. This hands-on position involves creating sourcing plans, managing candidate pipelines, guiding the hiring process, and ensuring an excellent experience for candidates and clients alike. Ideal candidates have experience recruiting in consulting, technology, or professional services settings, and know how to balance speed, quality, and organizational goals. This is a flexible, remote contract role offering up to 20 weekly hours, adjusted as per hiring demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial intake to onboarding stages.
- Collaborate with hiring authorities and clients to understand business requirements, team dynamics, and specific role needs.
- Devise recruitment strategies and sourcing plans aligned with hiring objectives.
- Craft and refine job descriptions to effectively attract qualified candidates.
- Source, evaluate, interview, and present top-tier candidates.
- Coordinate communication, interview scheduling, feedback, and offer procedures.
- Assist in offer negotiations, salary alignment, and recruitment closure strategies.
- Maintain a superior candidate experience across the hiring lifecycle.
- Recruit for a range of technical and professional roles including AI transformation, data engineering, software engineering, product management, UX research, digital transformation consulting, and technical leadership.
- Support hiring of contractors, consultants, and permanent employees.
- Partner with technical leaders to understand niche skill requirements and assess talent market conditions.
- Utilize recruitment expertise to identify passive and hard-to-find talent.
- Provide recruiting consultancy to Servant Talent clients, guiding them through the hiring process.
- Conduct comprehensive intake sessions to clarify job roles, candidate requirements, compensation, and marketplace realities.
- Offer insights on talent market trends and recruitment strategies.
- Manage ongoing communication with clients and candidates, ensuring transparency and progress through milestones.
- Build and sustain candidate pools from professional, technology, and faith-based networks, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, technology communities, and referrals.
- Initiate creative sourcing methods for specialized roles and maintain long-term candidate relationships.
- Coordinate contractor recruiting and agency collaborations, ensuring alignment on quality, cost, and contractual terms.
- Monitor compensation benchmarks, market trends, and contract talent rates.
- Maintain candidate data and recruitment tracking within Workable ATS, enforcing consistent processes and documentation.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and support continuous process improvements, integrating AI tools and emerging technologies to boost sourcing and communication efficiency.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in technology, consulting, staffing, or professional services sectors.
- Demonstrated capability handling end-to-end recruitment cycles.
- Proficient sourcing skills, capable of identifying passive candidates.
- Experienced in recruiting specialized technical talent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Consultative approach with strong collaboration abilities for partnering with executives, managers, and clients.
- Ability to juggle various priorities effectively within a dynamic remote environment.
- Meticulous organizational and detail-oriented skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in recruiting for consulting or digital transformation organizations.
- Hands-on experience hiring AI, data, engineering, product, design, and research professionals.
- Executive search expertise.
- Experience recruiting contractors and consultants.
- Exposure to nearshore hiring practices, including engagement with LATAM talent markets.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms like Workable.
- Experience conducting compensation benchmarking and facilitating offer negotiations.
- Skills managing agency and external talent partner relationships.
- Established networks within technology or faith-oriented professional communities.
- Knowledge of AI tools such as Claude for enhancing recruiting workflows.
