Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles and assist other recruiters within James Hardie.
- Arrange intake meetings for new positions, update job advertisements, and publish them on all pertinent platforms.
- Design and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract both passive and active candidates.
- Oversee the interview and candidate selection process, including scheduling and administration of assessments when necessary.
- Build professional rapport with candidates and act as a liaison, effectively communicating the company's employee value proposition.
- Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers as a recruitment industry expert to forecast needs and provide strategic insights.
- Lead diversity and inclusion recruitment initiatives in partnership with management and HR teams.
- Recommend improvements to recruitment and hiring procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the UKG recruiting platform.
- Assist local HR teams in onboarding new employees as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least five years of experience conducting full-cycle recruiting for hourly positions in-house or at recruitment agencies.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to undertake travel as required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail with a drive for success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working with server-based applicant tracking systems.
- Familiarity with job boards and social media recruiting platforms.
