Job description
Role overview
HealthHero is hiring a Contract Operations Manager to run the full contract journey across its B2B business. This role will manage agreements with corporate customers, insurers, partners and suppliers from the first request all the way through signature, renewal and ongoing administration.
This is a chance to shape the contracting function within a fast-scaling organisation. You will help design the templates, process guides, contract repository and CLM systems that make contracting quicker, more consistent, lower risk and able to scale with growth. You will act as the main coordination point across Sales, Finance, Operations, Governance and Legal, and you will be accountable for the administration and governance of every agreement from intake to renewal. As the position evolves, it may also expand into supplier and vendor management.
What you'll do
- Lead the full contract lifecycle management process and related tools, including choosing, rolling out and improving CLM and contract administration systems, organising the repository, and ensuring version control, approvals, e-signatures, renewal tracking and reporting are reliable, automated and audit-ready.
- Create and maintain a strong set of approved templates, standard clauses and routing guides, turning commercial positions, risk thresholds and escalation rules into clear practical instructions so standard agreements move quickly and exceptions are escalated properly.
- Serve as the operational hub for contracting, helping teams convert agreed commercial terms into workable obligations and SLA expectations while keeping Sales, Finance and Operations informed on progress and next steps.
- Manage contract signing, amendments, renewals and terminations, ensuring records are accurate and there is one trusted source of truth for active agreements.
- Make sure all contracting activity follows the agreed governance and approval structure, while continuously improving commercial workflows, controls and systems.
- Support supplier and vendor administration, and gradually take more ownership of it, including onboarding and due diligence, maintaining supplier terms and records, tracking renewals and obligations, and coordinating day-to-day supplier relationship admin.
- Handle daily contract questions from internal and external stakeholders, resolving standard issues directly and working with Legal or outside counsel on more complex matters.
What we're looking for
- Solid background in contract operations, contract administration or contract management in a B2B setting, with the ability to design and run an effective contracting process.
- Practical experience using CLM or contract administration platforms, including the surrounding processes, templates and repositories; prior system implementation experience would be an advantage.
- Experience with commercial contracts and knowledge of common terms so you can route issues correctly and keep updates moving, including liability, indemnities, SLAs, intellectual property, data protection and termination.
- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills and risk awareness, plus excellent attention to detail and the capacity to handle a high volume of work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in chasing, prioritising and keeping multiple parties aligned.
- Comfort working autonomously as an individual contributor in a contract operations role.
