Content Writer (Remote)

Role Overview

This contract position is for a journalist/content writer supporting AI training work for a client. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere, and focuses on producing strong real-world editorial content that can help improve next-generation AI systems. Your writing will contribute to how models learn, reason, and respond, especially through articles, features, and news-style pieces.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate topics, propose story ideas, and write original news pieces, feature articles, and long-form content across varied subject areas.
• Carry out interviews, collect first-hand information, and confirm details using reliable and authoritative references.
• Write accurate, engaging copy that can be adapted for different audiences, maintaining the right tone, clarity, and structure.
• Review, edit, and polish your work to improve readability, consistency, and overall quality while meeting deadlines.
• Use initiative and sound judgement to track developments in your area and identify fresh story angles and content opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Background in research, interviewing, fact-checking, and journalism, supported by a strong portfolio of published work.
• Excellent command of written and spoken communication, with the ability to produce concise and compelling content.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and time management, with the ability to deliver reliable work on schedule.
• Comfort working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams using digital content tools and multimedia storytelling methods.
• Understanding of media law and journalistic ethics, with a commitment to professional standards and integrity.
