The ideal candidate will be adept at cutting through complexity, avoiding unnecessary formality, and writing in a clear, engaging style that balances seriousness with a touch of wit and sincerity. We need someone who can work quickly, produce high-quality content under pressure, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, always with a deep understanding of our audience's needs and motivations.

What You'll Do

• Develop a wide range of content, including social media posts, FAQs, video scripts, persuasive emails, blogs, and articles, as part of a small, versatile content team.
• Transform complex and mundane information into simple, engaging, and easily understandable content, incorporating elements of delight.
• Refine and update customer communications across various platforms, such as emails, website help guides, and app interfaces, to ensure maximum impact.
• Script, produce, and edit videos designed to inform, entertain, and engage the target audience.
• Create compelling customer stories and product showcases to highlight positive experiences and the benefits of our offerings.
• Produce informative and practical guides to educate businesses on energy-related topics.
• Analyze content performance data to optimize existing content, identify new opportunities, and enhance messaging strategies.
• Proactively gather insights from customer interactions and internal energy specialists to inform communication strategies and campaign development.
• Manage your own workload autonomously, taking initiative on projects and adapting to evolving needs without constant oversight.

What You'll Need

• Demonstrated experience in writing or copywriting, or a natural aptitude for crafting compelling narratives. The company values skill and passion over formal career progression.
• A proven ability to simplify complex subjects and enhance communication effectiveness.
• Proficiency in SEO, including writing content optimized for search engines and analyzing search performance.
• Familiarity with video and graphic design tools such as Canva, Figma, and the Adobe suite.
• A strong understanding of human psychology, audience engagement, and social media dynamics.
• Keen awareness of current content trends and best practices.
• A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work, willing to tackle diverse tasks.
