Job description
Role overview
Quick Bites Media is a content studio that helps prominent founders, physicians, and financial educators become leaders in their niches through high-impact short videos and engaging long-form content. The team is lean, fast-moving, and focused on producing work that stands out rather than average posts.
This opening is for a strategy-led Content Strategist & Social Media Manager who is passionate about storytelling, strong hooks, and the psychology behind what makes content stop the scroll. The person in this role will also handle the day-to-day publishing and platform management that keeps client content live and consistent.
The job centers on content strategy first. You should understand why a long YouTube video performs well — including the topic, title, thumbnail, opening 20 seconds, and story flow — and be able to apply that thinking to short-form hooks, carousels, and trend-driven content. If you can review raw footage and immediately identify multiple shorts, a carousel angle, and a compelling hook, this role is a strong fit.
Content strategy
- Create content ideas for each client across long-form YouTube and short-form formats such as Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
- Review past content performance and shape strategy based on what the data shows is working.
- Develop attention-grabbing hooks, titles, and thumbnails that improve clicks and keep viewers watching.
- Monitor trends closely and respond quickly so client content stays relevant.
- Maintain content calendars as well as shoot plans and strategy documents.
Social media management
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across client channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Upload long-form videos to YouTube and optimize them with effective titles, descriptions, tags, and end screens.
- Keep each client’s social presence organized, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
- Work with the project manager, editors, and clients to keep production and publishing on track.
What the employer is looking for
- A person who truly studies content and can explain why a piece performed well instead of simply noting that it went viral.
- Solid understanding of YouTube packaging and retention, including titles, thumbnails, and audience hold, along with short-form mechanics such as hooks, pacing, and trends.
- Strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through when managing schedules and posting across multiple accounts.
- Ability to handle several clients and different brand voices at the same time.
- Comfort working with scheduling tools such as Later.com, plus YouTube Studio, Notion, and the major social platforms.
- Helpful but not required: experience working with finance, health, or creator/personal-brand content.
Working arrangement
This is a part-time remote position with flexible hours. The company values results over monitoring time spent at a desk. There is also room to grow as the business expands.
