We are seeking a driven Content & Social Media Executive to create, curate, and share brand-aligned content across a range of digital platforms. This position is a good fit for a graduate or someone at the start of their career who brings strong writing ability and a thoughtful, metrics-led approach to social media. The role involves running the content schedule, supporting copy for campaigns, and reviewing performance data to improve engagement and audience reach over time.

- Create and refine copy for social posts, blogs, newsletters, and email marketing activity.
- Take ownership of community interaction by keeping an eye on comments, direct messages, and brand mentions, then replying promptly in a suitable brand voice.
- Monitor and evaluate social media KPIs such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, and click-throughs using built-in platform analytics and Hootsuite.
- Prepare concise monthly reports that highlight performance and provide practical recommendations for future content planning.
- Work closely with the broader marketing team on campaign delivery, including coordinating assets, managing timelines, and supporting promotion across channels.
- Keep up to date with UK social media trends, platform changes, and competitor activity to uncover fresh content ideas and opportunities.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Media, Communications, Journalism, or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience backed by a strong portfolio.
- Sound knowledge of major social platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok, along with the practices that support organic growth.
- Strong command of written English with solid skills in editing, proofreading, and storytelling.
- Ability to read analytics and turn performance data into clear content decisions.
- Experience using content scheduling and social listening tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or comparable platforms.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to handle several tasks and deadlines at the same time.
- Basic ability to work with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop and InDesign for simple visual content editing.
- Exposure to email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles for blog and website copy.
Benefits and perks
- Remote-first setup with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK and choose hours that suit your productivity.
- 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of public holidays, plus an extra day off for your birthday.
- Access to a professional development allowance for online learning, certifications such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and Meta Blueprint, and virtual industry events.
- A monthly wellness allowance of £25 for gym fees, mental health apps, or other wellbeing activities.
- Quarterly social events, including fully funded virtual team activities and one annual in-person meet-up with travel and accommodation covered.
- 24/7 confidential support through an employee assistance programme covering mental health counselling and financial wellbeing guidance.
