Job description
About the company
Squint is an industrial intelligence platform designed for frontline workers who build the products people use every day. The platform unifies the context of an industrial business into a customer-specific knowledge graph, then uses AI and AR to deliver the right information to operators exactly when and where they need it, on the factory floor or out in the field.
The company supports major Fortune 500 organizations across manufacturing, field services, and utilities. Its technology helps these teams capture critical operational knowledge and turn it into real gains such as less downtime, less waste, and better productivity at scale.
Squint has raised a $40 million Series B at a $265 million valuation and is supported by investors such as Sequoia Capital, Menlo Ventures, TCV, and The Westly Group. The founders have been recognized by Forbes in its 30 Under 30 list for Manufacturing and Industry, and Fast Company has highlighted the company among the most innovative augmented and virtual reality businesses of 2026.
Role overview
This is Squint’s first Content Marketing Lead hire, responsible for sharpening the brand story and expanding its presence across multiple channels.
The role sits at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and hands-on content production. You will turn strong customer stories, visual industrial environments, and AI-driven product value into content that stands out and gets noticed.
What you will do
- Own content creation that strengthens Squint’s voice and grows its visibility across short-form and long-form channels, including social media, the website, case studies, and blog content.
- Source compelling moments from the business, such as customer wins, product launches, and factory-floor insights, then shape them into content themes and multi-channel storylines.
- Support executive thought leadership by helping leaders create social posts, longer-form writing, and speaking notes that sound authentic and communicate a consistent brand perspective.
- Produce more than writing alone by creating supporting visual and video assets using modern tools for design and editing.
- Work in a highly collaborative way, using feedback and strong briefs to improve the quality and impact of content.
What the company is looking for
- Excellent writing skills with a clear, precise, and intentional style across both short and long formats.
- Strong customer research instincts, including the ability to understand motivations, pain points, and trust factors.
- Comfort adapting content to the rules, tone, and algorithmic behavior of different channels to maximize reach and engagement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others and incorporate outside input into stronger creative work.
- Familiarity with industrial operations is considered an advantage, and candidates with direct experience in industrial environments may be given added consideration.
Required experience and profile
- A portfolio showing strong writing across multiple formats, including both short-form and long-form content for market-facing and customer-facing audiences.
- A demonstrated approach to audience research and audience growth, with content choices that expand a brand’s relevance and reach.
- Startup experience with a track record of making creative and strategic decisions rather than only executing predefined tasks.
- A strong point of view on content quality, with the ability to balance high standards against speed, channel fit, and experimentation.
Benefits
The role is based in the San Francisco office, reflecting the company’s preference for in-person collaboration and team energy.
- Competitive compensation with equity
- Medical, vision, and dental coverage
- Flexible paid time off
- Lunch and dinner provided
- Wellness support
